Result for Mavin Auction 35 coins session is out and Most of the Straits Settlements coins from Eric Low Collection has been grabbed at starting bid price. The Mavin International Auction 35 coins session held at the Concorde Hotel Singapore today (9 November 2013) and a banknotes session will be held on 16 November 2013 at the same venue.

Lot 239: Straits Settlements QV 1 cent 1875W NGC Proof AU
Straits Settlements Victoria, Cent, (KM.9), 1875W, proof only date, NGC Proof AU Details - rev. planchet flaw. The W on truncation variety is very rare, this being the only piece that we have come across so far, the metal flaw on the reverse does not distract from the eye appeal of this lovely gem.
