Chinese Aerospace notes & coins on Nov. 26

A set of commemorative bank note and coin would be issued by China's Central Bank on Nov. 26 to mark the country's progress in aerospace development, as reported by ThePaper.cn on Wednesday.

The commemorative set, including a 100-yuan bank note and a 10-yuan coin, is themed with China's aerospace achievements in the past few decades.

Having a closer look at the commemorative bank note, for instance, you will see China's Shenzhou-9 capsule docking with the Tiangong-1 space lab on the front side. While the reverse side of the bank note is printed with the Chang'e-1 lunar satellite, the Tiangong space station to be finished by 2020, and a jumbo jet.

Chinese residents can make reservations under real names to purchase the news set of commemorative bank note and coin from Nov.10 to 25.

Each customer will be limited to buy no more than three coins and ten bank notes.

The latest set of aerospace-themed bank note and coin features the fourth edition of commemorative notes issued by China's Central Bank.

The previous three editions include the 50-yuan notes issued in 1999 to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 100-yuan notes issued in 2000 to commemorate the new millennium, and the 10-yuan notes issued in 2008 to celebrate the Beijing Summer Olympics.
