Kedai Cenderamata Dickson Niew Collection

Today, I visit Dickson Niew Collection shop at Seksyen 14, Subang Jaya. His shop already changed from Dickson Niew Collection Shop to "Kedai Cenderamata Dickson Niew Collection". When I wrote this article about his shop for the first time on 30th Spetember 2011, he just start working as a full time dealer and he is busy arranging items for his collection corner. Today, he already rent the whole shop and you can find almost everything that you need for your coin and banknote collection.

Nowadays, almost every Numismatic collector in Malaysia and Singapore already knew Sifu Dickson Niew. If you want to visit his shop, I advise you to make an appointment first since he always busy with customer coming to his shop and his work as Malaysia Numismatic Secretary, advisor to Kelab Warisan Numismatic, member of Asia Numismatic Society, Singapore and also representative & coordinator for Collectibles Auction Asia (CAA), Singapore.

Finding Dickson Shop is not that hard if you're familiar with Jalan Kewajipan, Subang Jaya, Just look for Seksyen 14 signboard. If you're from KESAS, just head to Subang Parade/Carrefour Subang. When you find a roundabout, turn left (first exit) and enter USJ 14 junction. His shop is just few blocks away from that junction, just look for "Kedai Cenderamata Dickson Niew Collection" blue signboard.

If you're coming from Kuala Lumpur using Lebuhraya Pantai Bahru, you need to go straight and passed Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, until you see INTI College Subang Jaya on your right, his shop is on the left, near to the pedestrian bridge. You can also go there by Komuter but you need to get a taxi/bus to his place.

Alternatively, you can also search his shop location using Google Maps. Just search for "Dickson Niew Collection". If you're using WAZE apps, search using Google for "Dickson Niew Collection".

Coins & banknotes accesories (coin holder, coin album, banknote album, magnifying glass ). He also sell some collectibles items; Coke-cola, vintage bottles, old porcelin, old vases, match box etc.

If you're looking for Saran Singh book, The Encyclopaedia of the Coins of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, 1400-1986, he have few reprint book for sale. This book is a reprint with permission from Saran Singh not like a photocopy books you saw people selling in Facebook for RM200.
