The Encyclopedia of the coins of Malaysia Singapore & Brunei

Just a moment ago, I met Sifu Niew Dickson in his shop, Dickson Niew Collection Corner. It seems that today my lucky day because I get to meet pretty girls who come into his shop.

Ooops.., pretty girl? Hahahaha.... I will talk about it more later after Sifu Dickson Niew make a post about it.

Again I feel lucky because I received a lot of information about Numismatic from him today including Saran Singh The Encyclopedia of The coins of Malaysia Singapore and Brunei Book.

Dickson NIEW sells a "Reprint" of the book with the price of RM250. Currently, only 4 pieces of the book are left and I think it will be finished by the end of this week. This book is a reprint with permission from Saran Singh not like a photocopy books you saw people selling in Facebook for RM200.

I know many of you are looking for this book to the extent that there is a RM500 offer for my own book. To new collector, this book is Rare and a must have if you want to learn about Malaysia Numismatic history and knowledge.

This book share information about early tin/lead, copper, silver and gold coins of the component States of Malaysia (Melaka, Pahang, Selangor, Perak, Johor, Kelantan, Kedah, Terengganu, negeri Sembilan, Penang, Sarawak and British North Borneo). Almost all Malay coinage can be found in this book; kupang, pitis, jokoh, tin ingot, animal money, tampang, mas etc.You can also learn colonial coinage in this book; Portuguese, Dutch, Straits Settlements and Malaya. Private States Token are listed in this book as well as coins from Brunei dan Singapore.

All the coins techincal information such as obverse and reverse description, edge, weight, diameter, composition, mint and minted years are included for easy reference.

In each Chapters you can find a list, information and photograph of nearly all Resident councillors, Governors, high Commisioners, Prime Minister, Head of States, Sultan, Kings and Queens. 

Most of the coin pictures are taken in actual size as far as possible. The book pictures are in black and white.
