Malaysia Numismatic Society Auction (MNS) No. 161 was conducted today at Jabatan Muzium, Muzium Negara, Jalan Petalawati, Kuala Lumpur. 238 lots are offered by the MNS for their 3rd auction of 2014. Many people come today although yesterday there was another auction at Sasana Kijang.
The Auction start a bit late at around 10.30am and Jabatan Muzium Lobby filled with collectors who wish to participate in the Auction as well as those who want to know what is happening there. Apart from the regular faces, I see some new faces that I had never seen before coming to the MNS auction. Who know in the next auction, MNS will need a bigger place to run their future auction.

Only 4 bourse tables are open today, most of the sellers are the familiar faces to everyone. Only the seller who sell Taiwan Commemorative coins on the table near the counter that I never seen before, the other sellers are regular in MNS Auction. Some of these dealers who came all the way from north to participate in this auction.
Auction conducted by MNS president himself, Mr.Thenakaran Nadarajah with the help of MNS Commitee members.
The auction floor are full of members of MNS who participate in the auction and public who are interested to watch the auction. All seats are filled by members of MNS and visitors. Some of them stand outside chatting with their friends. In addition to auctions, MNS Auction is the place to meet with numismatic friends throughout Malaysia.
