Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The 2014 Australia Kookaburra Silver Bullion coins will be available in 1/2 ounce, 1 ounce, 10 ounce and 1 kilogram. A maximum mintage of 500,000 pieces has been established for the 1 oz size.
