150 great Britons for new £10 note

Here is a list of 150 great Britons for new £10 note. The names of individuals in this list are suggested by public for England banknotes. The list released by Bank of England reflects the wide variety of talented people the nation considers worthy of recognition.

Princess Diana, David Beckham, The Beatles, Mick Jagger and Robbie Williams are among Britons celebrity that has been included in the list. Right now, the mathematician and cryptographer Alan Turing is the overall favourite with over 26,000 signature for online petition "Put Alan Turing on the next £10 note".

The current Bank of England £10 notes are Series E, everyone is hoping a new celebrity will be feature in the future Series F notes. The current Series E featuring scientist Charles Darwin. The Bank of England has been including historic characters on its notes since 1970.
