Fake Sweden Whore King Coin

A Swedish online news, The local on Thursday reported a story about fake Sweden whore king coin. The fake coin found by 72-year-old Karin Mattsson from Piteå in northern Sweden on Tuesday. The counterfeit Sweden one krona coin have a text that mocking their king, H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf. The writing on the King's head on Mattson's coin read as “Vår horkarl till Kung”, wheich means “Our whorer of a King”. The normal coin text suppose to be “Carl XVI Gustaf Sveriges Konung”, which means "Carl XVI Gustaf Sweden’s King".

In 2010, a biography entitled “Carl XVI Gustaf - Den motvillige monarken” (‘Carl XVI Gustaf - The reluctant monarch’), share the King private life including his love affairs, wild parties with Swedish models and connections to the underworld. They're also details of an alleged year-long affair with Army of Lovers lead singer Camilla Henemark in the late 1990s. Because of the book, the 66-year-old king has been the subject of numerous tabloid reports.

Mårten Gomer, technical expert of notes and coins at the Riksbanken said it is really rare to find counterfeit coins in Sweden. Following reports of the forged krona coin in Piteå, a similar coin was reportedly discovered in the Stockholm area, according to the Expressen newspaper. Stockholm resident Ann-Marie believes she received the coin as change after purchasing mineral water at Stockholm's Kungsträdgården on June 6th.

The head of Sweden's Royal Coin Cabinet museum, Ian Wisehn, said the counterfeiter must have put a lot of time and effort into making the fakes look good enough to fool people.
