A pair of Malaya 1940 $1 & $5 Dollars Specimen banknotes graded by PMG 55 NET ($1) and PMG 55 ($5) will be auction by Trigometric Sdn Bhd in their upcoming Trigometric Auction 3, 20 Mac 2016.
The super rare Malaya banknotes are the highest grade for these specimen banknotes so far.
Trigometric Auction 3 will be held next Sunday, 20 Mar 2016. Session 1 (9.30am) is for Coins & World Banknotes (Lot 1 - 185) and session 2 (12.30pm) are for Malaysia Banknotes (Lot 186 - 388).
Auction will be held at Hilton Hotel Petaling Jaya, (P.J. Hilton), Serunai Suite 1 & 2 Level 1, East Wing, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Other major highlight of the auction is the 50 Ringgit 3rd Series Signed by Ismail Md.Ali with a very low serial number B/1 000001 graded by PMG 64 UNC. The banknote reserve price is RM50,000 and most probably will be sold at a much higher price.
3 lot of Kupang (kijang) gold coins, previously sold in Eur-Seree Collecting Auction will start the auction as lot 3, 4 & 5 with a reserve price RM2,500 for each of the coins.
