Congratulation to Trigometric Sdn Bhd team for their successful 1st Auction held today (15 March 2015) at Serunai Suite, Hilton Hotel, Petaling Jaya which collectively exceeded RM1,633,340 (without buyer premium). From a total of 338 lots about 124 lots were unsold.
The Auction day start to heat up when a Macau 10 Patacas, Chinese Lunar year of the Dragon, Bank of China & BNU Bank, Match Number Pair (lot 76) sold for RM322,000 including buyer premium. Shortly afterwards, a Malaysia 1000 Ringgit 5th Series Replacement note with Super Low Serial number ZZ 0000001, graded PMG 64 EPQ sold for RM322,000. Both lots were purchased by same person.
The top lot for the auction is the Malaya & British Borneo 1953 & 1954 10c and 20c Struck In Silver (Lot 266) sold for RM460,000 including buyer premium. Another six-figure coin was a China 1993 5 oz Gold Peacock 500 Yuan Proof Coin Certificate of authenticity serial number. 0000008 sold for RM230,000 including premium. The 500 Yuan gold coin only have a mintage of 99 pcs.
