A very rare Malaysia commemorative gold coin, RM500 millennium commemorative gold coin will be offered in lot 1011 of the auction. The encapsulated 999.9 gold came with a crafted pewter case, original box of issue and certificate of authenticity no. 06984. The reserve price for the coin is S$3,200 or RM8,240. The coin minted by Mariwasa Kraftangan Sdn Bhd in 1999 but there is no information on the total mintage. Current market price for the gold proof coin is around RM12,000.
