This just in, the rumours about Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will release a new commemorative coin to commemorate 100 Years of Girl Guides is confirm. The coin will be launch tomorrow (29 May 2012) by Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Haminah, Royal Patron of Girl Guides Association (Persatuan Pandu Puteri) Malaysia at Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites, Ipoh. The limited edition commemorative coins will come in 1 ringgit nordic gold coin, 10 ringgit silver coin and a set of RM1 nordic gold and RM10 silver coins. They're no technical specification details provided and they're also no information if any commemorative gold coins will be issued.
On the obverse of the coin is the logo of Girl Guides Association Malaysia with the denomination value and 'BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA'. On the coin reverse show a logo of World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) and wording 'ULANG TAHUN KE 100' 'PERSATUAN PANDU PUTERI DAN PENGAKAP PUTERI SEDUNIA'.

- RM10 silver coins-RM180 (Sale price by the association) .
- Set of RM1 nordic gold and RM10 silver coins-RM230 (Sale price by the association).
