Spain World champion coins 2010

To commemorate this great success for Spanish sports, the Royal Spanish Mint has minted a new coin set entitled "World Champions South Africa 2010" composed of two coins, one of .999 gold and the other of sterling silver. In the final 2010 FIFA World Cup, Spain, the European champions, defeated third-time finalists the Netherlands 1–0 after extra time, with AndrĂ©s Iniesta's goal in the 116th minute giving Spain their first world title, the first time that a European nation has won the tournament outside its home continent.
