On June 25, 2009, Jackson collapsed at his rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills district of Los Angeles. Today, on 4 September 2009, he was to be interred at Forest Lawn Glendale in a hidden monument in a mausoleum made of marble and mortar. Many people still searching for Micheal Jackson song (Thriller, Billie Jean, beat it, bad etc). While other search for his memorabilia or collectibles like Micheal Jackson signed CD, poster, shirt, jeans and many other merchandise that are not related to this blog.
I have been writing about Micheal Jackson official memorabilia coin before. I doing a further investigation about it and I found out that most of the item on sale in eBay as official Micheal Jackson coin is a fake. Look like everyone is trying to make money from Micheal Jackson death. Most of the item sale for almost hundred of dollars is actually come from a website alibaba.com. They buy the item at a cheap price in alibaba.com and sell them as an official Micheal Jackson coin. What a shame way to earn money from other people.
Please understand, I am not telling you that alibaba.com are selling counterfeit coin but some seller who is trying to make easy money from people who want to found Micheal Jackson memorabilia is the real culprit here. Other coin design that look funny and not done by professional coin designer most probably a fake to. I try to find anything about which mint or company suppose to produce Micheal Jackson coin; at this time of writing, i cannot find any information about that.

This post is just an alert to all my blog reader and Micheal Jackson memorabilia collector out there. Don't waste your time buying something that is worth nothing. I check eBay today and look like some seller is selling Micheal Jackson .999 silver coin. I wish nobody will be a victim of this fake Micheal Jackson collectables. Please make sure you don't fall into a trap and buying this fake Micheal Jackson coin. By the way, do you own any Micheal Jackson memorabilia item?

This doesn't surprise me at all. There are a lot of people out there that are just out to make a quick buck and they don't care what or who they exploit. I never liked Michael Jackson but I think this is in really bad taste. Great article, I hope his fans that were thinking of spending their hard earned money on these coins read your article first.
Hi Tricia. I know coin collector will not buy this coin since the design is so lame and look like done by a kids. Some of this seller even dare to email me declaring that their coin is the official coin for Micheal Jackson memory. I have not see any news about them in the net. How to confirm that they are the one who own the right to mint them? Haha...
It's such a shame that some people would be so greedy as to take advantage of a death like that. I myself was not a huge fan of Michael Jackson or his music, but to take the death of a star and try to turn it into profit... those people should be ashamed.

Some people told that Micheal is a bad person but in my opinion, people misjudged about him. He is a Pop icon that most of us will always remember, young and old.

I didn't even know there was a coin out now. I knew there was someone trying to get rich off of him selling plates on tv, so this is new info for me. very sad info at that.
