Agong name on new banknotes

I think many collector already knew by now, you can find 1st Agong name on new banknotes. The name written on his destar or tengkolok; SERI PADUKA BAGINDA YANG DIPERTUAN AGONG PERTAMA ALMARHUM TUANKU ABDUL RAHMAN IBNI ALMARHUM TUANKU MUHAMMAD. Just look near the star on the destar, some of you might need a magnifying glass to find it. You can find the name on all new banknote denominations (RM1, RM5, RM10, RM20 & RM100) except for RM50 banknotes. To anyone who still don't know, Tuanku Abdul Rahman is the man on Malaysia banknotes and he is the 1st Yang Di Pertuan Agong of Malaysia. Check at Bank Negara Malaysia websites, they don't mention it as one of their security features but I do think this is a good thing. People can learn who is on Malaysia banknote and it can be a new security feature that people can easily remember. BNM should promote this micro lettering feature in their website and implement it on the RM50 notes too.

Agong

Tuanku Abdul Rahman was elected first Yang di-Pertuan Agong or Paramount Ruler of independent Malaya on 3 August 1957 for a five year term by eight votes to one, defeating the more senior Sultan Abu Bakar of Pahang. Tuanku Abdul Rahman was installed as the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong of independent Malaya on 13 September 1957 at the throne room of the Istana Negara. He had been the ruler of Negeri Sembilan for 24 years before being elected as the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Tuanku Abdul Rahman died in his sleep at Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur in the early morning of 1 April 1960. The lying in state was held at the Banquet Hall of the Istana Negara. On 2 April 1960, a state funeral procession was held in Kuala Lumpur, whereupon the teak coffin of His Late Majesty was then taken by train to Seremban and later by hearse to the Istana Besar, Seri Menanti. He was buried at the Royal Mausoleum in Seri Menanti, Negeri Sembilan on 5 April 1960. Read more: Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
