Finally, what a Micheal Jackson fan had been waiting for since the license has been announced a few months back will be release in a few days. The commemorative coins and collections are being produced and approved under a license from the Estate of Michael Jackson. The announcement was made on monday by Tom Bennett, Chief Executive Officer of Bravado, and Bernie Neumark, President and CEO of the First Commemorative Mint.

The coins are available now and ready for shipment on 28 September 2009. Micheal Jackson coin, Struck by the United States Mint and professionally colorized with approved images of Michael Jackson. Each coin is encapsulated in a clear plastic holder to protect it from damage. The coin sets also come with a beautiful metal display box. "The value of the Michael Jackson coins lie in their unique status as both official collectibles and legal tender issues," stated Mr. Neumark. "This has never been possible before so we are excited about the opportunity. Each new coin will be a coveted first edition, so there will be tremendous demand from both coin collectors as well as Michael Jackson fans. Most coins will be produced in limited editions which will add to their scarcity and historic importance."

Michael Jackson- Four-Piece Colorized Coin Set bring image of Micheal Jackson from the height of his popularity as the King of Pop, after he made his debut with The Jackson Five in 1963 and the image of Jackson as he appeared shortly before his death. Michael Jackson-Colorized Silver Eagle Dollar – the 80s shows a classic image of Michael Jackson at the height of his career in the 1980s; features Michael's trademark high-collar "military uniform" along with his facsimile signature in blue. Michael Jackson-Colorized Silver Eagle Dollar – the 90s shows a classic image of Michael Jackson in the 1990s along with his facsimile signature in red. The only important thing I don't see in FC Mint website is the mintage quantity of the coin. To Micheal Jackson fan who want to buy this coin, mintage will not be an issue. To coin collector like me, mintage, material and design are few thing that we will look at before we invest in any coin. Small mintage number means that this coin will be a good value investment for collector. Maybe FC Mint just want to take advantage with the current Micheal Jackson phenomenon and try to sell as much coin as they can. Good luck from me.
