Nieu 2013 The Flintstones silver coin

The Mint of Poland in Warsaw has produced a Nieu 2013 The Flintstones 1 Dollar silver coin for The Treasury of the Government of Niue. The Flintstones silver coin produced in .925 Silver fine with only 6,000 pieces mintage for worldwide distribution. The coin is packaged in in a cartoon blister pack designed specifically for this coin with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The reverse show the main cartoon characters in the Flintstone’s apartment – in the foreground: multi-coloured images of Fred, Barney and Dino. In the background – Wilma and Betty standing by the window. At the bottom – a coloured inscription: THE FLINTSTONES. On the right side of the coin – a signature of the Hanna-Barbera studio which confirms the coin design authorization.

The Flintstones first broadcast in America on 30th September 1960 on ABC. The main character Fred Flintstones is an accident-prone bronto-crane operator at the Slate Rock and Gravel Company and the head of the Flintstone clan. Barney Rubble is Fred's best friend and next door neighbor. Dino is Fred dinasour pet, a sauropod dinosaur (a Snorkasaurus), who barks and generally acts like a dog. Anyone who watch the cartoon must have remembered Fred catch-phrase “yabba dabba doo”.
